[2008/12/6]  3rd Ishikawa Fetal Heart Echocardiogram Conference held at Keiju General Hospital in Nanao, Ishikawa. Lecture by Kanagawa Children's Health Center Dr. Motoyoshi Kawataki. Approximately 35 participants from in and outside Ishikawa. Associate Professor Dr. Takanari Arai, representative facilitator.
[2008/11/22-24]  Under Shuseiki Program auspices, the first ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics) Provider and Instructor courses held in Japan at Kanazawa University. 23 teachers and students from Japan and the United States attended. Participants (Ob/Gyn, Family care, and residents) practiced primary care emergency situations using role plays and mannequins. Please go to photo library for pictures from course. [2008/10/30]  Shuseiki Center receives gSpecified Nonprofit Corporationh (NPO) status. From 2009 Shuseiki Center will operate as gThe Endowed Center for the Advancement of Pregnancy, Perinatal and Infant Careh
[2008/10/15]  Shuseiki Center and research-based Keiju General Hospital found the Center for Family Medicine and initiate a resident training program as well as a collaborative program for future educational research projects.
[2008/10/09]  Kanazawa Televisionfs evening news show BibiMitsubachi airs a program on 5th year K-CAPPIC students who participated in Augustfs rotational training.
[2008/08/18-29]  Rotational training for 5th year students begins. 10 students at participating hospitals: Keiju General Hospital, Noto General Hospital, Wajima Municipal Hospital and Suzu City General Hospital.
[2008/08/11]  Japan Family Medicine Conference/Student & Resident Panel: 20th Annual Family Medicine Summer Seminar for students and residents held in Niigata Prefecture. Presentation by Associate Professor Takanari Arai (introduction to Shuseiki Center efforts); also attended by K-CAPPIC resident Dr. Satoshi Dohi.
